Community Partnerships

In the past, we have looked to our community businesses for Sponsorships and financial help with the operating costs of POPS. This year is no exception. The support of our community businesses will make it possible for us to continue these amazing family-oriented concerts.

We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities, along with advertising options. Our POPS program is a great way for your business to reach up to 5000 residents who need every service provided by our sponsors and advertisers.

2024 Pops Poster Artist

Jill Estroff

Artist Jill Estroff uses bold brushwork and vivid color in a loose, expressive style. Dynamic color and light illuminate her contemporary paintings of figures, landscapes, and still life. Estroff captures the essence or feeling of her subjects in ever-changing methods as her work evolves.

Since March 2021, she has served as the art curator at PBS KVIE, overseeing The KVIE Gallery and curating the annual PBS KVIE Art Auction.

Estroff’s artwork has been shown in Northern California galleries and has been featured on more than a dozen INSIDE Publications covers since 2015.

History of Pops

Pops in the Park has been a mainstay of East Sacramento community life for over 30 years. Founded in 1991 by then Councilmember Josh Pane, the series has developed under Councilmembers Steve Cohn and Jeff Harris into an established tradition that thousands of residents enjoy every Saturday evening in June. The event has always been focused on bringing free quality entertainment to East Sacramento, with an emphasis on improving our community. In 2023 the Pops tradition continues in collaboration with Friends of East Sacramento for the non-profit support of local artists, vendors, businesses, and residents. We are excited to carry the East Sac summer tradition forward!
